Old Tibetan in the Barkhor

Tibet, Old Lhassa, the Barkhor

Early morning in Lhassa, lots of people head towards the Potala. 

Men and woman, relatively old for the majority of them, start the day by their Kora. Several kilometers by foot, each one whirling a prayer wheel. 

Later in the afternoon, in the streets of the Barkhor, it is common to see these tibetan sitting together and chatting, while their praying wheels often keep spinning, almost restless...
