Cho Oyu

Tibet, near Xegar

Sixth highest peak in the world, 8201m high, Cho Oyu means "The Turquoise God".  

Tibetan folktale tells that he fell in love with Chomolangma, but the latter married another neighbor, the Makalu. 

To the west of Cho Oyu, the Nangpa La, a pass used by tibetans to enter in Nepal.
