Shade and Light: Paya Aung San Dar in Amarapura

Myanmar, South of Mandalay, Amarapura.

Amarapura is a famous site, essentially because of splendid views offered at sunset by the neighboring U Bein Bridge, with its piles of tek wood.

Just west of the bridge, along the shore of lake Aung San Dar, there are several beautiful pagodas and monasteries.
