Gold, Crimson and Moonshine: Above Bago, Mahazedi Paya

In Bago, Mahazedi Pagoda differs from all the others, looking like a step pyramid, on the top of which stands a golden stupa. 

Arriving at the top of the steep stairs, around the base of the stupa, one can enjoy a 360 degrees view over the city.

It is also the place where sometimes the crimson robe of monks stands up on the golden background of the stupa.
